Make Room for the Korean Girl Bands

Hey guys,

Welcome these bands to our Korean Pop Blog family :D, I'm sure you don't mind, right? Haha, forehead slap, how could we forget the girl bands? No sexism allowed here :P.  Okay, who's part of our family now? SNSD and 2NE1 ---> A little about SNSD; all-girl group xD, a.k.a Girl's Generation, when they first started out, called Super Girls, relating to Super Junior.  I hope it wasn't only because they're both big groups.  2NE1; to anyone, twenty one? Sounds like it when you say it. Korean girl group obviously, their debut is called "Fire." THIS GROUP IS GOING TO HAVE A COMEBACK IN MAY: CHECK UP ON THE BLOG, MAY IS GOING TO BE A BIG MONTH FOR KOREAN BAND COMEBACKS!  Check out the music corner often, we'll be adding more Kpop music along with the many bands we're adding recently.  Time to listen to some Kpop...

Hey Fellow Kpop Lurvers,

The blog has been undergoing extreme makeovers recently, and I have to say that I like what it's turning out to be.  We have a few features we'd love for you to try, such as the goodies page and chatbox.  Leaving messages/feedback in our chatbox would be extremely helpful and appreciated.  The goodies page has some wallpaper, the Korean word of the day, ringtones, and lyrics, so go check it out.  OH ----> almost forgot! Check out the music sidebar (the right one) it's awesome, with music from the four groups we're following right now.  I added a picture on the top of each player, so it's a little less plain. Currently, I'm working on upgrading banner... which is a little frustrating because I'm using Photoshop; I'm not used to the wide variety of tools available on Photoshop.  If anyone has any pointers they would be really helpful :D (leave a message in the chatbox :P) I think I'll go listen to some Kpop now...

Super Junior comeback on May 13.

Super Junior's official comeback has been set on May 13 with their 4th new album. They will launch their activities without three members: Kangin, Hankyung, and Kibum.

Kangin is being enlisted in the army, Hankyung is in the middle of a lawsuit, and Kibum is focusing on his acting career.

“I needed more self-discipline time and decided to be enlisted in the army” (KangIn confesses, “I needed more self-discipline time and decided to be enlisted in the army”)

This quote has been swarming blogs all over the Kpop internet sources today... If you don't know what's going on, here's the basis: KangIn was involved with an assault case and short after, a hit and run case. Because of these problems, KangIn wants to join the army to maybe turn his life around. I'm guessing KangIn wants to change his life a little... or a lot. I think joining the army is a pretty drastic change (right?), and while I respect KangIn's choice, maybe counseling/therapy could work as well? I think there are other ways of teaching yourself self-discipline, but hey, that's me being selfish lol [minus KangIn = less Super Junior = :( ]. This was announced during Super Junior's comeback statement... We hope and wish the best for you, KangIn.

Hey Kpop Lurvers,

Newest Features include ringtones, wallpaper, and lyrics to the songs in our music corner. New post on ss501's comeback.  Requests for different posts/music/videos/whatever are really welcome.  Any ideas on how to make our site more accessible/convenient would be greatly appreciated--honestly, we could use some help on ideas.  Check back often because the site is going to go under some major editing/fixing up.  We'll add more pictures/videos/music in the weeks to come. Remember to leave a message in the chatbox -- give us some feedback!

SS501 May 1st Comeback.

The new concept photos of SS501 were out on May 1st. Due to some issues, the boys decided to delay their album to a later unannounced date in May.

The photos are a bit creepy to me due to their face masks. It seems like they are going for a darker image this time.
