2PM's newest Japanese single "Take Off" sold 59,000 copies in its first week of release. The single featured a futuristic concept and was released with MV shortly after. Fans criticized the choreography as being too "simplistic", but praised the song for its "adorableness" and enjoyed the music as a whole.
2PM surpassed SNSD, who sold 45,000 copies of their Japanese album in their first week, and Big Bang, who sold around 44,000 copies of their limited edition Big Bang 2 Japanese album. But 2PM has yet to rival Japanese artists such as KAT-TUN, who recently sold 151,000 copies in their first week (KAT-TUN placed 1st on Oricon charts 20 times since their debut).
2PM is one of the many groups to be well-received in Korea (i.e. Big Bang, SNSD, B2ST, and KARA). 2NE1 remains to be one of the few Japan-debuted Korean groups not to be as successful in Japan.

S.M. the Ballad MV, Album, and Debut Stage
The newest co-op male group is... S.M. the Ballad! The group consists of SHINee's Jonghyun, Trax's Jay, Super Junior's Kyuhyun, and some newcomer named Jino. Their debut album name is Miss You and the group debuted on Inkigayo yesterday on November 28th. As the name suggests, the group focused on slower, moving ballad songs. My favorite songs from the album would have to be "Another Day" and the title song "Miss You"; you can listen to the entire album under the cut.

Co-Ed's MV and Performances: "Too Late"
Co-Ed started a big new debut that included a 3D MV, performances on various music shows and much much more. This group incorporates both girls and boys, which is implied by their name. The group's dancing abilities are vividly shown through the 3D MV and their performance on Inkigayo... The outfits they wear during the MV are black/camo style while their outfits during the Inkigayo are a bright white.
