TEEN TOP releases "Driving Me Crazy" MV

After releasing a dance version teaser and a drama version teaser, TEEN TOP has finally released the full version MV for their newest song "Driving Me Crazy."  The drama part of the MV features L.Joe chasing after 4minute's maknae, Sohyun.  The dance part of the MV drives fan girls crazy -- especially those noonas out there.

TEEN TOP is back with their new album It's and new song "Driving Me Crazy".  TEEN TOP comes back with a darker image that shows off a more mature side of them.  The MV matches the album cover they released earlier this week:

Their comeback image contrasts from any work they've done before.  The teaser is also the drama version of the MV, hinting that there may be a dance version of the MV as well.  The date of their album's release is set on Thursday, January 5th 2012.

Miss A releases "Goodbye Baby" MV

Immediately after releasing their newest single "Goodbye Baby", Miss A released the stunning MV for the single.  Amping up their sass from "Bad Girl Good Girl", "Goodbye Baby"'s MV is much more breathtaking and mature.  Miss A is shown being rejected by a manager, who thinks that Miss A is not worthy.  The girls get back by putting him in a tank and slowly drowning him.

Very different from the other MVs Miss A released, "Goodbye Baby" is well-directed with a strong storyline and choreography.

GP Basic become blondies in Japanese "Jelly Pop" MV

Young girl group GP Basic hopes to debut in Japan with an MV for their song "Jelly Pop".  The MV features a lot of weird gummy figures dancing around the girls as they sing.  The girls have decided to become blondies for their MV, which really stands out in their choreography.  GP Basic had performed this song long ago in Japan, but only released the MV recently.

My favorite gummy animal in this MV has to be the weird pencil pushing thing. Whoo, move it pencil pushing thing! ~

I also command HyunA and GP Basic to make a new single called "Soda Pop".

Min slaps the bejesus out of a man in newest "Good Bye Baby" teaser

2 days ago girl group Miss A released a teaser website for their upcoming song "Good Bye Baby", which made us believe the song was a mix between hip-hop and castanets.  Today's teaser, however, has a dance beat to it and has a faster tempo = seriously confused.  Read original post here.

The teaser feature's Miss A's very own Min, who is shown slapping a man who is carrying red roses.  The slap is powerful enough to start the teaser ("Good bye baby, good bye") in all its glory.  The slap was so powerful, I had to make a gif of it:

The slap knocks a bouquet of red roses out of the man's hand.  Min must be extremely upset.
The message is clear here: "Good Bye Baby" . . . for good!

MBLAQ ignored by closeted fan-girl in "Mona Lisa" MV

MBLAQ has released the MV of their newest single "Mona Lisa" after releasing a teaser only yesterday.  MBLAQ speaks of a girl who they love "more passionately than the sun" but can never have because the girl is a Mona Lisa, or a person who cannot love them back.

The Mona Lisa in this video is the woman in the red dress, who ignores the members of MBLAQ (which must have been a hard role to play, if you know what I mean) and constantly rolls her eyes at.
How many times does she roll her eyes? Let's see...

The red-dressed woman also walks past MBLAQ with barely a notice as they sing "baby say yes" -- an improbable outcome.

On a serious note, the song has a great beat and instrumentation to it (the accordion adds a unique sound to their entire song).  It is truly a great comeback song for MBLAQ.

ZE:A releases "Watch Out" behind the scenes: HyungShik dies from fish

ZE:A just released behind the scenes videos of their newest song "Watch Out", which was released only a few days ago.  Although there are no subs,  it seems that ZE:A playing with a giant fake marlin.  The ensuing battle ends up with member HyungShik stabbed and "dead".  The group clean up the stage in the first video and end up hitting each other with the mops.

The second behind the scenes video shows ZE:A dancing goofily to "Watch Out".

The group really shows off their funny/murderous sides with these two videos.

MBLAQ releases "Mona Lisa" MV teaser

Five-member boy band MBLAQ has just released a teaser for their newest track "Mona Lisa".  The teaser features an accordion solo that feeds into an electronic beat -- a strange combination that sounds unmistakably Italian.  

The Mona Lisa in the MV appears to be a young women in a red hot dress walking towards MBLAQ.

The mini-album Mona Lisa is set to be released July 12th online and July 15th in stores.  This mini-album release will mark MBLAQ's first activity since January, when MBLAQ released their first full album, BLAQ Style.  

Mona Lisa = 30 x 21 inches valued over $700 million.  Is the girl in the red dress comparable? Maybe just maybe. 

Legendary girl group The Grace has returned with "One More Chance": MV & Comeback Performance

After a group hiatus of three years, The Grace has returned with an MV for their song "One More Chance".  Have they lost their fans? According to Youtube, definitely not.  Fans have far from forgotten this group's vocal talents. For those who are not familiar with The Grace (like me) they were originally a four member band that was legendary in singing, dancing, acting... everything! Now The Grace is currently a duo with Dana and Sunday, but do not fear because Stephanie and Lina are set to return after they finish their individual activities (Lina is focusing on acting while Stephanie is focusing on ballet).

"One More Chance" was released only yesterday but has already gained over 140000 views and more than 3700 likes.  Fans criticized the MV because of the autotune that masks their voices, but their comeback performance on Music Bank says differently.

It seems The Grace will return to their rightfully held stardom -- even though many newcomers to Kpop do not know who they are, they are naturally attracted by The Grace's amazing vocal talent.

Personal Note: I hate posting about groups I barely know anything about (it may give me unfair biases), but after writing this post, I have learned one important thing: I LOVE THE GRACE!! 

2NE1tv Live: Worldwide to be released in July

2NE1 is set to release the third season for 2NE1 TV, but this time it will be released to the ENTIRE WORLD.  That's right, all international fans will be able to watch their favorite Korean girl group from their own TV.  According to the teaser, 2NE1 will be adventuring and promoting their music overseas, reaching as many fans as possible.  MNETUSA is promoting the U.S. side of the television show.  Through this international TV show, 2NE1 will be spreading K-pop farther than ever before!

Currently New York, Dallas, Washington D.C., Houston, and Honolulu are the U.S. cities in which you are able to watch Asian culture channel MNET, but the company promises to expand their range soon.

Real 2PM releases its first broadcast

2PM's Youtube channel Real 2PM just released its first broadcast.  After announcing the video on their Twitter, JYPE posted a link to the video.  The video takes on the format of a reality TV show.  It follows 2PM behind stage.  This broadcast includes Nickhun's birthday, 2PM performing "Hands Up", and Changsun's cat.

Block B releases "Tell Them" MV

Block B just unveiled their newest MV for their song "Tell Them", which is part of their mini-album New Kids on the Block.  Almost a week ago, Block B teased fans with a look into "Tell Them"'s filming (click here).  The MV features Block B dancing behind a fence with a freestyle BMX rider.  It was stated that Zico, Block B's leader, co-wrote the song.

The lyrics (found under the cut) suggest celebrating youth.

Rainbow releases "Sweet Dream" MV

Rainbow just released their "Sweet Dream" after a 45 second teaser released only a couple days ago. The MV features no choreography; they must be saving it for their comeback performance.  Fans praise the  MV for properly featuring all seven members equally, something that is hard to do with the whole group dancing together.  Fans also praised the quality and effects in the video.

Rainbow comebacks on June 23rd on M!Net Countdown.  They plan to debut in Japan in September of this year.

Living a life of luxury, 2PM shows off private jets, expensive yachts, and flashy cars with their "Hands Up" MV.  The group already received more than 4000 likes on Youtube after posting the video a couple of hours ago.

SHINee releases Japanese "Replay" dance version

Are you tired of seeing Yoona instead of your favorite K-pop group, SHINee, in their Japanese "Replay" MV? Look no further because SHINee's Japanese dance version of "Replay" has just been released.  The Korean dance version varies slightly from the Japanese dance version in terms of choreography, but in terms of appearance, the versions vary greatly.  Taemin no longer has a bowl cut!

2NE1 releases short teaser for "I Am the Best"

YGEntertainment released a teaser video for 2NE1's "I Am the Best".  YG seems to be taking the same approach for 2NE1's comeback as Big Bang's comeback in the sense that they are releasing ridiculously short teasers that last about 12-15 seconds.  2NE1's comeback is on the 24th according to the teaser, which only involves an animated version of 2NE1.  The audio teaser reveals a strong club beat.

Fans are excited to see their favorite K-pop girl group return after their recent comeback in May, "Lonely".

Dara asked fans on her Me2Day: "Was [the teaser] too short?"; most fans replied "yes".

f(x) releases "Hot Summer" MV

f(x) just released the MV for their new song "Hot Summer".  The song is a dance song with a heavy beat and simple but bold choreography.  The girls are seen dancing in front of a dark pink tank with a yellow and red sports car; they released their album on the 14th.

Kim Hyun Joong Releases "Please" MV

Kim Hyun Joong released his MV for his single, Please today at 9pm. The teaser was released only a few days ago and has already gotten extremely popular with 300,000+ views. The teaser showed clips of him with a girl as well as dancing scenes. However, you can watch the entire MV now. The entire album will be released on June 8, which is when his fanmeeting is being held to celebrate his birthday.
