SHINee releases Japanese "Replay" dance version

Are you tired of seeing Yoona instead of your favorite K-pop group, SHINee, in their Japanese "Replay" MV? Look no further because SHINee's Japanese dance version of "Replay" has just been released.  The Korean dance version varies slightly from the Japanese dance version in terms of choreography, but in terms of appearance, the versions vary greatly.  Taemin no longer has a bowl cut!

Sorry Fangirls, Jonghyun is TAKEN (as of October 2010)

News is that SHINee's Jonghyun has recently been rumored to be dating K-Actress friend Shin Se-Kyeong.  The two have known each other for a while, but decided to take it up a step to significant others. The two have stated that they were interested in each other at various times, so it was not totally unexpected for the two to date.  Notice how in the pictures taken, the two seem unaware that pictures are being taken of them.  Or maybe they know? Hmm... mysterious.

Various 2010 Incheon Music Wave Videos

Annyeong haseyo! OMFGMAO. I don't know what that was, but I felt a jumble of emotions when I watched these fan cams of the Incheon Korean Music Wave! The fancams include SNSD, Seohyun/Younghwa couple, and more!

Watch the fancams under the cut!

August 29th Inkigayo

Annyeong haseyo! This week's Inkigayo featured FT Island's comeback song "Love Love Love" and Sistar's comeback song "Shady Girl."  Sistar's Bora fractured her thumb recently and had a pretty silver splint during the Inkigayo performance. It was very unfortunate because Sistar was just beginning to promote "Shady Girl."  Read more to see a heck of a lot of pictures :D.

Who is hosting this week's Inkigayo?  f(x)'s Sulli, 2AM's Jokwon, and CN Blue's Younghwa!  Jokwon and Younghwa are such goofballs :P.

T Island came back with "Love Love Love" Sarang sarang sarang.  It's great to hear bands like CN Blue and FT Island that play their own music.

Secret performed "Madonna."  This song is so catchy and upbeat.

GP Basic performed "Game."  Is it just me, or did they sound especially squeaky this week? I think they were caught up with the dancing that they kind of messed up the vocals.  I think it's hard for anyone to do a mix of the two.

"Digital Bounce" by Seven.  I cannot take this guy seriously right now; not after he harassed Taeyang earlier. I'm still laughing about it... xD  He was wearing some kind of goggle... Worker's goggles? Hmm... construction goggles?

Homme performed "I Ate Well." Is that right? I'm still not sure about the song name... They have really good vocals though :).

SHINee performed "Lucifer."  I still love Jonghyun, and he will be my new hyung.

Taeyang performed "I'll Be There." Great great performance.  I liked the choreography and the execution of the dance moves.  Too bad Seven wasn't there.

BoA performed "Hurricane Venus."  She was wearing some kind of purple suit... Martian suit, perhaps? I'm not sure, but it was very purple and tight.  Oh BoA, we love your wide range of wardrobe surprises. What will you wear next?

The Photogenic SMTown Family

Annyeong haseyo! SMTown's Tour had brought many fans to Seoul to watch their favorite SMTown artists.  The concert lasted 6 hours with 80 songs on a very hot SK night.  The concert was AMAZING and WONDERFUL apparently and now I'm pissed that I can't go to the LA tour stop.  WHY?!? The artists that are featured include BoA, SNSD, SHINee, Suju, f(x), and more.  Noooo.

Music Core Pictures August 14th

Annyeong haseyo!  Nickhun and Suzy helped Onew and Krystal host Music Core for this week's performances.  The performances included "Lucifer" and "Huh."  Below are some pictures of missA performing their hit song "Bad Girl Good Girl."  More pictures under the cut...

SHINee performed "Lucifer" again.  In the far left you can see Minho.  His leg has healed recently and now he is able to perform with the rest of the group.  The group seems to be more complete now :).
4minute performed their song "Huh."  They seemed to be wearing jean-like jumpsuits...  The concert was outside, so they used flame effects and fireworks during this performance.
f(x) performed their song "Nu Abo."  There has been some controversy surrounding f(x) recently...

1. missA

2. 4Minute

Super Stars Saturday: Music Core Pictures Aug. 7

Annyeong haseyo! Here are some pictures from this week's Music Core episode... this episode had "Lucifer" and Orange Caramel's good-bye with "Magic Girl."
The Orange Caramel group says good-bye with their song "Magic Girl." I think these girls influenced our most recent template colors and made me hungry for caramel at the same time.
Onew from SHINee and Krystal from f(x) hosted Music Core this week in SNSD's Tiffany and Yuri's place. Onew had multiple clothing changes because he had to dance to "Lucifer," and host. Picture of SHINee under the cut... plus some of Music Core's performances...

I was surprised that Onew wasn't really tired after dancing and singing "Lucifer" with the rest of SHINee. SHINee put up a great performance on this Music Core episode.
MBLAQ performed on Music Core as well, singing "One Better Day." They performed in an outdoor stage, in front of some gate thing.
Infinite performed "She's Back" on Music Core. :D They keep getting better and better. They're one of the younger K-Pop groups out there.

Inkigayo August First: SHINee's "Lucifer"

Annyeong haseyo! SHINee performed just yesterday on Inkigayo and has had great success with Youtube, being viewed over 65,000 times. Fans are liking their performance saying that "not many kpop bands can sing and dance at the same time."  I thought they looked pretty energetic on Inkigayo, especially for dancing like crazy the whole time. Video is under the cut:

How to Eat Noodles: By Jong Juri and Jonghyun

I was looking around on allkpop and I found a short but hilarious video with Jonghyun and Jung Joori in it... They were showing the world how you should eat noodles. But I'm pretty if I tried to eat noodles like Jung Joori showed me in a very formal restaurant, I'd probably be put in jail. Jung Joori likes very awkward moments! It was only recently that she was kissing Taeyang... Hmmm. The picture above is my interpretation of Jung Joori's noodle-eating position, and the video of her eating noodles with Jonghyun is below the cut...

Incheon Korean Music Wave 2010

Why?! Why don't I live in South Korea? Especially on August 29? Guess who's on the line up for Incheon's Korean Music Wave 2010? BoA, Se7en, Super Junior, 2PM, SNSD (Girl's Generation), SHINee, Taeyang, and more! It's a compilation of heart-stopping Kpop artists, and they somehow assembled it into one concert! The website can be found here if you live in South Korea and can go, unlike me :(. The line up video can be seen here:

We promise to post about this again! I'm sure they'll have pictures and what-not. Those who can't make it to South Korea on the 29th, we share your pain. Thank you KBS Global for informing me about this bittersweet event.

SHINee Releases New Album for 2010

Image from The Korea Herald

Yes!! Look what I found on The Korea Herald!!
"Korea’s boy band SHINee’s video teaser for a new album has been drawing popularity among young people since it was posted on July 16 on the group’s webpage and various music-related websites.
SM Entertainment, SHINee’s management agency, revealed individual photo teasers of each member for the new album starting with group member Minho on July 8 through 12, ending with Key.

While SHINee used to be recognized as pretty boys, for their new album, they appear as fully grown men with charisma.

The title song, “Lucifer,” describes a girl who holds the false belief that selfishness and obsession are a part of love, having both sides of evil and good.

The newly released album also features songs made by SHINee. “Your Name” is composed by group leader Onew and Jong-hyun, who worked on “Juliette,” composed “Obsession.” SHINee’s new album is now available for purchase." (The Korea Herald)

Here are some of the songs in SHINee's new album. All of the songs can be found on this Youtube channel. Click here.

SHINee's Onew has just released a concept photo for SHINee's new album; the name of the album is still unknown. Here is the photo:

The concept you ask? Well, no one really knows for sure. A lot of fans are scratching their heads as to what this headband is leading to. What am I thinking? Two words: Karate Kid:

Haha, just kidding. SHINee hasn't released anything recently... They "died" for a while, but I'm pretty sure they won't disappoint when they come back this year!
