ss501's Song "Love Ya" Released!

ss501's comeback song was just released today called "Love Ya."  They've had teasers (posted earlier in our  blog's history) and this is what it's led up to!  The video is very dark as their pictures have shown in our blog's history earlier this month.  You can see the pictures here.  This really contrasts from ss501's "A Song Calling for You" and really shows their versatility in music style.  The song is about a plea to get someone's love even though they love someone else.  The lyrics can be found here.  The song was supposed to be released on May 1st, but was released today.  Was it worth the wait? Definitely. 

 

SNSD Remembrance: "Gee"

SNSD's "Gee" was SNSD's big song during 2009, which seems not too long ago. Making the post about Yoona's birthday made me have a mini-SNSD seizure and I felt like I had to listen to their videos all over again...Mannequins always creeped me out when I was a kid, but when it's SNSD mannequins, I don't mind as much... Shinee member Minho GOT TO TOUCH THE SNSD MANNEQUIN. How lucky is that?  What I need in my room is a Seohyun mannequin... SNSD seems to intimidate people with their legs. They dance so perfectly in unison...

Below is the same music video for "Gee" but in different players, we're experimenting to see which player we like better.  Megavideo has an ad whenever you click it, but its something new; Youtube doesn't have an ad when its not on the Youtube website, but it's extremely common... I think we'll use Megavideo when we want to post on something about a Korean TV show...

Happy Birthday Yoona!

Yoona is a bright, innocent, and successful in everything she does, whether it's modeling, singing, dancing, or acting. While this blog posts mostly about Kpop, we can't help but mention the other amazing talents this young Kpop artist has.  Whenever she winks, smiles, laughs, or giggles, she makes us laugh.  Desirable, adorable, sociable, successful all describe this SNSD member.  She can be called the strongest member of SNSD (literally) when she breaks six chopsticks; you can watch the video here. The video really shows Yoona's modesty, and I really like the end because even Yoona herself is surprised she could break that many chopsticks.  Her personality and beauty are a perfect match, captivating her fans with every appearance she makes.  We really love you Yoona and we hope you continue to captivate us and have many more successes and much more happiness to come!

This marks our first Kpop artist birthday! Remember to check in on June 8th to celebrate ss501's group birthday!

Love Ya MV teaser

YG Entertainment is holding auditions in LA, New York, and Seoul

With out further ado, it's SS501's Love Ya MV teaser. The mix of classical and modern makes such a wonderful match here. This pairing is in SS501's MV and in their musical track. You can watch the MV teaser here, or on Kpop Central:

Wait a second, hasn't this happened before with the Rebirth album....? I guess I'm happy and sad that ss501's songs keep getting leaked... a fan thing maybe? ss501 is going through a lot! Along with their comeback, it's almost their debut anniversary (be sure to come back on June 6th to see our post and banner on ss501's anniversary), and they will be on the T.V. show Music Bank on June 4th. You guys can watch it on the KBS channel (I know I will be xD). You can be sure that we'll get pictures of the episode some way or another, even if it means camera attacking the T.V. We'll look for the episode of Music Bank that ss501 shows up on and post it too.

In other news, the YG family is having their auditions for this year again. They're the supporters and "family" unit of Big Bang and 2NE1. You guys can bet I'll be at the try outs in LA... well maybe not... If I learn Korean in the next three days maybe, just maybe. Yuri and Sunny - SNSD on Invincible Youth

I just finished watching an episode on the KBS channel called Invincible Youth that has members from SNSD, Yuri and Sunny, in the TV series.  It was my first time watching the Korean channel, and I have to say that Korean channels have the most entertaining TV shows.  They are so random that you barely know what they're doing half the time, but it really is entertaining; I really enjoyed watching it xD.  Invincible Youth is about seven girls from different Kpop groups and their attempts at living in the rural Korean outdoors.  I watched episode 26, which you can watch here.  Unfortunately there are no subtitles in English, but what goes on in this episode is that they spread fertilizer, play musical chairs, plant rose of Sharon shrubs, and plant potatoes.  The picture of Sunny is early in the episode, and the picture of Yuri is when they play a game to see who has to plant the biggest rose of Sharon shrub.  The girls have to act "sexy" and that's the position Yuri chose.

                      They played "Run Devil Run" during musical chairs :D.

Make Your Own Seungri

Hey Guys! I just visited Always Taeyang, and they posted on a paper model site that lets you make your own paper model Big Bang members! They come with the outfits that they wore in their music videos. I'm guessing they want to give us more reasons to love Big Bang. I know I'll be addicted to making these for a long time... I won't stop until every last one of them is made! :D Then I can have a Big Bang Box People fan house. I made my very own paper box Seungri xD. He's such a player :P, but you can't help but love him. The model is based on Seungri's clothes in the music video "Lollipop." Here's the Seungri I made:

Big Bang Remembrance - "Let Me Hear Your Voice"

I just rediscovered Big Bang's song "Let Me Hear Your Voice."  This song reminds me about Big Bang's comeback this summer/fall; I can't wait for their comeback!  When I hear this song, I think of the BIG TRENCH COATS that Big Bang wears in the song.  And then I think: That's what I'm missing from my life A FRIGGEN HUGE/WARM TRENCH COAT.  But that's just me... lol... This video also has one of the strangest things I've seen Taeyang do -> His weird running sequence.  That part of the vid was so unexpected, but it made me laugh.  Just 3-4 months until Big Bang returns to the spotlight!

SNSD and 2PM - "Cabi"

SNSD and 2PM just released a new video and audio track "Cabi."  The song is somewhat of a promotion and advertisement to the Carribean Bay water park in South Korea.  So if anyone ever goes there, they can go into the water and say "THIS WATER IS THE WATER SNSD AND 2PM SWAM IN!"  Well, that's what I would say anyways... and maybe I would fill a bottle with the water and label it SNSD/2PM... but that's on the creepy side.  SNSD and 2PM have not worked together before I do not think, but I think they make a good team.  Does this mean that they might work together in the future, perhaps? I hope so.

Kim Hyun Joong was in a Car Accident......

As many of us fans have heard, Kim Hyun Joong got into a car crash. This happened on May 12th as he was driving with a friend. It is said that he has injuries to his ribs and also got some bruises and abrasions.
This accident has delayed SS501's comeback to early June. As for the Dream Concert on May 22nd, Kim Hyun Joong will be only performing ballads.
Let's all wish Kim Hyun Joong oppa to get well soon~~

I don't think he should perform at the Dream Concert. It's going to be really painful to sing especially with rib injuries. I wish oppa the best and to recover soon.~ The comeback can wait, for me. I just want him to be all better.

Super Junior: New Song!

Super Junior has just recently released their new song -- Bonamana! The song was released on Thursday of this week and is Super Junior's fourth album.  Long awaited by fans, the album had many pre-ordered copies.  

Ahh! Finally! Super Junior's comeback! It's been a long time (or that's how it feels), but the wait is over! Does anyone feel like the first verse they speak really resembles "Sorry Sorry"?
