T-ara's new leader Hyomin releases comeback photos

T-ara's new leader, Hyomin, released vintage photos of their new album Roly-Poly.  The style is from the 70s and 80s in the U.S.  Hyomin is being promoted as T-ara's leader before their debut in Japan. The retro concept has been circling around K-pop for the past year now.  Wonder Girl's "Different Tears", SECRET's "Shy Boy", and SNSD's "Hoot" all showcase the retro style.  SECRET members complained that they failed to understand the concept behind their own MV, which was understandable because they never experienced such culture.  Hopefully T-ara will find success in their comeback on July 1st.

Funny, I'm pretty sure the adidas logo didn't look like that in the 70s and 80s.

K-Pop November Comebacks

Who is coming back this November in K-pop?  The two big names to look out for are Big Bang and Orange Caramel.  Big Bang has been with out an entire album release for two years now, but their comeback should be in a few weeks according to G-Dragon, who told fans that the album was almost finished last month.  The group has thanked their fans for waiting for them.

MORE UNDER THE CUT

Another smaller K-pop group, Orange Caramel, plans to release their second mini-album on November 18th.  Their title song will be "Aing" and has the concept of some kind of mystical... book and Disney.  Orange Caramel seems to target for a cuter and younger image than their big sister group After School.  After School will come back December 2nd, not too long after Orange Caramel.  The concept for After School has not been mentioned, however.

Other comeback dates...
T-ara - December
SISTAR and their third single - Sometime SOON!
MBLAQ - January

T-ara's Jiyeon Being Silly

T-ara's Jiyeon posted a silly picture of herself and someone who seems to be her sister. They seem to be practicing their cross-eyed look?  Silly silly Jiyeon, you're cute enough as it is. The message that came with the pictures goes something like:

"I love to take pictures.  My older sister is practicing being cross-eyed."
