Heo Young Saeng's new style of ballad was shown in his recent participation of the OST for the drama "Protect the Boss". The song is called Missing You. Recently, fellow member Kim Hyung Jun also released an OST for the drama "Hooray for Love" called Indecisive. Park Jung Min had also released an OST for "The Princess Man" called Missing You. Park Jung Min Releases OST For "The Princesses Man"

SS501 Park Jung Min’s OST track, “Missing You” for KBS2’s “The Princesses Man” has been released.

Entertainment agency CNR Media said, “The drama ‘The Princesses Man’ is currently doing very well with its number one ranking with OST tracks sung by Baek Ji Young, Lee Jung, Ha Dong Gyoon, and more. ‘Missing You’ will especially present the best OST by increasing the drama’s touching elements with Park Jung Min’s melancholy and tender voice.”

Park Jung Min has increased expectations for the track by affectionately recording the song despite his busy schedule before leaving to film for his Taiwanese drama.

“Missing You” was composed by the hit composer Park Jung Wook, whose previous works were included in the “Secret Garden,” “Iris,” and “Bad Love” OSTs. Won Tae Yeon, lyricist for “That Woman” from “Secret Garden,” also participated in its creation.

Park Jung Min was chosen to star in a 4 episode Japanese Drama called "Love Song". The drama will be shown starting from August 5th on Friday. Look at the teaser below!

SS501 member Kim HyungJun made a surprise guest appearance inPark JungMin’s first solo album commemoration 1st Showcase & Fan Meeting held on 22-Jan at 7pm at Dom Art Hall in Seoul KwangJin-gu Children’s Park.

Kim HyungJun made his surprise appearance when Park JungMin was singing ‘Rainbow’ which he has written the lyrics for, surprising the fans who attended the showcase & fan meeting.

Finishing the song, Kim HyungJun begun to speak jokingly ‘I think JungMin will be uneasy if I’m not around by his side, so I came.’

released on 25 November last year had been postponed. Other than taking charge of the writing of the lyrics for his title song ‘Not Alone’ and other tracks in the album, Jung Min had lose more than 10kg in with the efforts to achieve a sleek and chic look.

Instead of the conventional youthful and cute image, Park Jung Min is going for a mature and masculine appearance. And together with the change in style of music, you will be able to feel the difference to that of when he was with his group.

With plans to become an ‘ambitious solo’, Park Jung Min and Hitsong producer Shinsadong Tiger had worked together on breathing techniques. Singer Park Jung-min holds successful fan meetings in Japan [2010.12.24]

Singer Park Jung-min held his first solo fan meetings in Japan this week, according to his agency CNR Media on Friday.

A press release from CNR announced that Park's first fan meeting held twice on December 22 at Osaka's NHK Hall in Japan attracted a total about 4,000 fans, while 3,000 fans attended his second meet-and-greet the following day at JCB Hall in Tokyo, Japan.

On Tuesday, Park held an autograph session for the release of his first Japanese photo book titled "Present."

Park made his debut as one of the members in boy band SS501 along with Kim Hyun-joong, Kim Kyu-jong, Heo Young-saeng and Kim Hyung-jun in 2005. He signed with CNR media in August to continue with his singing career after their contract with DSP Media expired in June this year.

His first solo album "Not Alone" will go on sale next month and will hold a showcase and fan meeting in Korea to celebrate the release.

Q: YOUR SOLO ACTIVITY IS ABOUT TO START IN JAPAN, WHAT KIND OF IDEA DO YOU HAVE WHEN PERFORMING 絆ー少年よ大紙を抱け?

A: Because it is the first work i received after the solo activity start, i felt nervous and pressurized, but i will work hard!

Q: IS JUNG MIN A PERSON WHO IS EASILY NERVOUS?

A: Actually, i am not a person who gets nervous easily but i will feel the pressure.

Q: I HEARD THAT MUSICAL ‘GREASE’ RECEIVED MUCH PRAISE IN KOREA RIGHT?

A: Yea! It has always been the first! Hahahahaha (Laughs)

Q: SO IS IT BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF CONFIDENCE?

A: Because of the experience in the performance in Korea, there are many invitation but i turned down all. The Japanese musical this time also took under consideration for a long time before making a decision. Using Japanese to perform with young actors, stimulation and challenge are new to me.

Q: YOU ARE REALLY FLUENT IN JAPANESE, WHAT MUST WE DO TO BE LIKE YOU?

A: When i used to work with SS501 in Japan, we stayed there for 6 months. Compared to music activities, the free time we had were much more. I would exercise at night and will also go to the BBQ shop next to the bus station. When i am alone eating in the shop, i will chat with the boss over there and after chatting for a long time, we became friend. At that time, my Japanese wasn’t good and though many tried very hard to teach me. But after understanding what they were saying, i would feel happy. Recently, there isn’t much opportunity for me to speak in Japanese and because i haven’t spoke it for very long, I cannot understand when someone faces to me and talk sometimes. (Laughs)

Q: ARE YOU LEARNING CHINESE RECENTLY?

A: Yes, i am trying hard to learn Chinese now, i have learn for about a month now. When i am learning Japanese, i will not buy Korean book (He mean the content in Korean) and instead, i will buy the teaching materials that the Japanese uses and practice myself. Now, i also buy Chinese materials which the Chinese uses to read.

Q: YOU WANT TO HAVE ACTIVITIES IN JAPAN, CHINA AND OTHER COUNTRIES AND NOT ONLY IN KOREA RIGHT?

A: Yea, my aim is to have activities in Japan, China and Korea. I also want to be the ‘Most cuddable Male Artist’ (Laughs)

Q: WHEN HAVING SOLO ACTIVITIES, WILL YOU STILL USE SS501 SEXY CHARISMA AS YOUR NICKNAME?

A: What to say… i still think that Most cuddable Male Artist is more appropriate. Will change to this the next time!

Q: AS A SOLO ARTIST, WHAT DO YOU WANT PEOPLE TO LOOK YOU LIKE AS?

A: Still the same artist, I will sing and play in different countries. Because i know Japanese, I will like to develop and work hard in Japan as MC and DJ. Of course, i hope to use Chinese to do these too!

Q: WHEN WILL THE MINI ALBUM BE RELEASE?

A: This is only scheduled. Because i have not decided how to do it and i also want to add in colours of myself, but i don’t want it to become an album full with personality.

Q: I HEARD THAT IT ATTRACTED MANY FAMOUS COMPOSERS?

A: I want to choose song which fits my personality. I want it to be at the peak in Japan music industry.

Q: AS SS501 JUNG MIN, WHAT KIND OF PLANNING DO YOU HAVE?

A: Although everyone has different personality, but we agree the meaning of our group name SS501, this is the best. Just like SMAP, everyone has a different personality, but they can carry their group name, i think we can do it too!

Q: SOME FANS ARE WORRIED ABOUT THE RUMORS OF SS501 ACTIVITIES?

A: I did not hear any serious rumors in Japan and during the transferring of new agency in Korea. But its over now, everyone now carries a feeling of ‘I want to protect SS501′. Because its our solo activities now, there might be some difficulty in getting together. I wish that we can release a album on 1st May. Of course, this is my personal idea, if everyone gathers, perhaps its true and achieve it.

Q: I HOPE THAT ON 1ST MAY NEXT YEAR, YOU CAN ACHIEVE YOUR WISH!

A: This is a good day, i would like to see our group name number being written out! (Laughs)

Kim Hyung Joon is going to participate in Song Seung Hoon's fanmeeting and also is opening up a new company with his little brother, Kim Ki Bum, called HnB Company, and he also tweeted recently about the company. Heo Young Saeng is busying learning how to use twitter ^^. Kim Kyu Jong posted a message on DSP for his fans. Park Jun Min Leaves SS501

Annyeong haseyo! There's been some bad news about SS501.  After Kim Hyun Joong's departure from SS501 to pursue an acting career, Park Jung Min has left SS501 as well.  Park Jun Min has signed a contract  "with CNR (Comic-Ritz & Roymedia.)" The company does work in China, Taiwan, and other parts of Asia and is responsible for the conversion of "Boys Over Flowers" from a comic to a drama.  Park Jung Min chose CNR because he wants to become more active in the other parts of Asia.
